Post Reels Everyday

If you want more engagement and a larger following across your platforms you need to post consistently your 15 Second videos.

With @archerworks_ we ran an experiment with posting as many instagram reels a week for months and found some interesting points.

We were able to gain +650 followers, 147k accounts reached and 20k engaged a month. Which doesn’t sound like a lot in terms of what YouTubers claim you can obtain but it is a humble and solid purse. this would leave you with +7,800 followers and over 1M in reach in your first year of posting. These numbers could be even higher after taking into account the exponential nature of social media.

We’ll be continuing our process and updating this blog to where we get to.

Stay in the Niche

Once you continually post the same type of content over and over, don’t post something completely different. This will throw the Instagram algorithm out. We did find that If you post for multiple days of different content you can move the algorithm over to something new which can take as little as one week.

Under 15 Seconds

Unfortunately or fortunately? So this means it restricts you to what content you can place in a reel but it also means it can be quicker and easy to produce.

This helps you in being more consistent to getting engagement on your content.

Use good Audio

Another trick to gaining more traction with reels is by using ‘trending audio’. This will mean that people who look into the audio and who else have used the audio will stubble across your content to see how you utilised it.

We watch reels and save the ones we like so then we can use them on our own content.

They can be just one clip

We found that often the videos that were one clip did better than the clips with multiple shots cut into 30 seconds. Also, just having one clip makes it easier for the editing which in turn helps with consistency.

Good luck!
